Daily thanks

I am on the eboard (leaders of the group) of my pro life group at school. Just from having two or three meeting with the other heads of the group have just brought me that much closier to God. We share our highs and lows of the day and I can feel the sharing of God’s love without talking directly about him. This group of people inspire me so much! I am so thankful for students for life. Such a loving group!❤️

Life for 10 days

http://blogs.babycenter.com/mom_stories/02102014-video-baby-zion-lived-just-10-days-and-he-changed-lives/

This is a great story of love, hope and life. This little baby was very sick and they weren’t even sure if he was going to live through his birth. The family decided to have him anyways. They chairished his life for the ten days they were able to share with him on earth. They made tribute to him through a video. I highly recommend on watching it!

Quote of the Day

Then you are mistaken, and you know nothing about me, and nothing about the sort of love of which I am capable. Every atom of your flesh is as dear to me as my own: in pain and sickness it would still be dear. Your mind is my treasure, and if it were broken, it would be my treasure still: if you raved, my arms should confine you, and not a strait waistcoat–your grasp, even in fury, would have a charm for me: if you flew at me as wildly as that woman did this morning, I should receive you in an embrace, at least as fond as it would be restrictive. I should not shrink from you with disgust as I did from her: in your quiet moments you should have no watcher and no nurse but me; and I could hang over you with untiring tenderness, though you gave me no smile in return; and never weary of gazing into your eyes, though they had no longer a ray of recognition for me.”
Charlotte Brontë, Jane Eyre

This is the kind of love God shows to us in sickness and in health.

Ordinary Miracles

It’s not that unusual
When everything is beautiful
It’s just another
Ordinary miracle today
The sky knows when it’s time to snow
Don’t need to teach a seed to grow
It’s just another
Ordinary miracle today
Life is like a gift, they say
Wrapped up for you everyday
Open up, and find a way
To give some of your own
Isn’t it remarkable?
Like everytime a raindrop falls
It’s just another
Ordinary miracle today
The birds in winter have their fling
And always make it home by spring
It’s just another
Ordinary miracle today
I think Sarah Mclachlan put it beautifully. There are little gifts of miracles that occur each and everyday. Today at my work (nature camp) one of my coworkers brought in a injured baby robin, that her dog had caught the previous night. We all helped to feed it. (moisten dog food with tweezers and a small earth worm.) I think that this little baby birds survival was an ordinary miracle. It also helped me remember the importance of respecting not just human lives but all lives, even animals! #prolife

Intro: Chapter 1 Out of Place

Artists are known for their openness and sympathy towards others. This statement is dicey and not always true. Let me explain; I believe that most artists are the most charismatic people you will ever meet, but not as open to different views, as they appear to be. They are just like everyone else for the most part, open to their own beliefs, and if you don’t believe the same thing, you are being judgmental. In my personal experience, I have felt this judgment because I do not share the same views as the rest of the artistic community.

I am a actor, singer, and artist but, I am also a devoted Catholic. You may ask, what does this have to do with anything. There are things that I, as a Catholic firmly believe that is not accepted by most artists, such as the Catholic views on gay marriage, transgenders, sex/dating, usage of drugs/alcohol, and the Pro-Life movement. On this blog, I will share my own personal stories, struggles and testimonies about these subjects (and much more).
